Launched in July 2019 across CNBC global platforms, ‘Where Great Minds Meet’ is a totally unique content campaign in its sector. Conceived by CNBC Catalyst and featuring Levison Wood, the multi-platform campaign highlights trailblazing leaders who make a global impact. We witness world-firsts as Wood travels across South Africa to meet leaders in technology, healthcare, sustainability and travel. For SAT, the partnership is a powerful step change that mirrors the burgeoning business and events scene. In 2018, South Africa was recently ranked by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) as the number one country in Africa and the Middle East for hosting business events in 2018.
This session showcased how innovation is at the heart of South Africa’s MICE scene; revealed valuable insights for every visitor at IBTM World – and we looked to what’s next for South African Tourism in 2020.
