When I joined CNBC, one of the things I was most excited about was the opportunity to be involved in one of the biggest, and most important, events in the Asian business calendar and for over a decade, CNBC’s annual Asia Business Leaders Awards have recognised exceptional leaders who have helped shape the Asian economy.

Founded in 2001, ABLA recognises remarkable business leaders, who through strength, innovation and foresight induce positive change in an evolving corporate Asia.

ABLA winners exemplify the best in leadership. These visionaries epitomize the core values of a successful leader – strength, innovation, ingenuity, knowledge and foresight – values that are imperative to carving out powerful businesses in the global economy. You can find out more about previous winners, here.

The evening itself is always an opportunity to network with some of Asia’s most prolific business leaders – a C-Suite collection which only CNBC, the world’s number one business news network, could bring together in one place.

I’m delighted that this year we’ll be heading to the stunning Hotel Mulia in Jakarta for the ceremony which will take place on November 23rd and will be televised around the globe on CNBC.

Six Capital and Astra International are already confirmed as partners for this year’s event with the team at CNBC Catalyst helping these and our other partners influence and connect with the powerful collection of business leaders who will be attending the show.

In the meantime, if you and your organisation would like to be a part of ABLA and find out how you can engage with Asia’s powerful business elite do please get in touch.

I’m so proud that CNBC continues this important tradition of providing a platform for business leaders in the region to be globally recognised for their outstanding achievements. I look forward to seeing you there.
